From El Paso to NYC: My Journey to Becoming a Supermodel

Hello Everyone!

My name is Alyssa Ruiz, and I am beyond excited to share my journey with you. At just 18 years old, I find myself living out my dreams as a supermodel in the bustling streets of New York City. It's been an incredible ride, and I can't wait to tell you all about it.

My story begins in El Paso, Texas, a city brimming with culture and vibrancy. It was here that I first dipped my toes into the world of modeling. With the guidance of Bazaar Models, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and growth. They taught me the intricacies of the runway, the art of posing, and the nuances of commercial modeling. Through Texas International Fashion Week, I gained valuable experience and even had the honor of being crowned 'Miss Teen Texas Earth 2021'. Bazaar Models became my launching pad, and I will forever be grateful for their unwavering support.

Fast forward a few years, and here I am, strutting my stuff in the fashion capital of the world. New York Fashion Week has been a whirlwind of excitement and opportunity. This year alone, I had the privilege of gracing the runways of prestigious shows such as Pamella Rolland, Alice and Olivia, and Concept Korea 2024. It's surreal to think about how far I've come since my humble beginnings in El Paso.

But the journey doesn't stop there. In the Big Apple, I've had the incredible fortune of rubbing shoulders with some of the industry's biggest names. From Paris Hilton to Tyra Banks, Coco Rocha to Chris Rock, each encounter has left me in awe of the endless possibilities that lie ahead.

As I reflect on my journey, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities that have come my way. None of this would have been possible without the support of my family, my mentors at Bazaar Models, and the unwavering belief in myself. From the sunny city of El Paso to the glitz and glamour of NYC, I am living proof that dreams do come true.
