What is the purpose and reason for Mercedes-Benz of El Paso Fashion Week?
Mercedes-Benz of El Paso Fashion Week, is a large-scale event production celebrating fashion in the Southwest, with receptions and over a dozen fashion shows in a three-day event based in El Paso, Texas. Several designers from across the U.S. as well as local talent, and retailers will be showcasing the hottest trends of the year. Other participants involved include a wide array of runway models, makeup artists, hair stylists, salons and spas. Press coverage will be abundant throughout the Southwest and Texas.
What categories of participants are there?
Retailers, Salons, Designers, Photographers, Hair Stylist, Makeup Artists, Models. What are the Mercedes- Benz of El Paso Fashion Week participant deadlines?
Deadlines have not been announced yet for Mercedes-Benz of El Paso Fashion Week 2011.
Where does all the money go?
Funds raised go to pay for all of the events that occur during Fashion Week. Additionally, our non-profit partner for this year is the El Paso Opera.
How are designers reviewed for participation?
All participating designers are asked to submit a sample to Bazaar Models along with a biography. A committee of fashion experts will review each designer’s work (both photography and a physical sample). The committee will determine which designers will be selected to participate.
How does voting work for the Mercedes- Benz of El Paso Fashion Week?
For 2011:
People’s Choice Awards: Visitors to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (Runway shows) will be asked to vote for their favorites in each category. Each visitor may vote only once for a participant, but they may vote for multiple participants in each category. the votes will be tallied, and the winners will be announced upon closing of the Mercedes-Benz of El Paso Fashion Week.The system Bazaar Models has in place will not allow for multiple votes for the same participant per voter.
